Basic Therapeutic Touch Intensive

October 5-8 (Friday dinner to Monday lunch - 3 days)

Therapeutic Touch (TT) is a contemporary healing modality, which evolved from the process of laying on of hands. Based on the assumption that human beings are complex fields of energy and that the ability to enhance healing in others is a natural human potential. Therapeutic Touch is used to balance and promote the flow of human energy.This Basic Level program will explain the basic concepts of TT, as well as provide participants with ample opportunity to learn and practice the basic Therapeutic Touch techniques.

The Basic Level Programs are taught by Qualified Therapeutic Teachers (QTTTs). The Basic Level Program taught by a QTTT is a prerequisite for the Intermediate Level Program, the Mentorship Invitational and application to become a Qualified Therapeutic Touch Practitioner (QTTP). All QTTPs and QTTTs are qualified by the credentialing arm of Therapeutic Touch International Associates (TTIA).

Prerequisite: There are no prerequisites for this program.

This continuing nursing education nursing activity was approved by the New York State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

It has been approved for 15 contact hours.

All Therapeutic Touch Facilitators, Teachers and Mentors at Pumpkin Hollow retreat Center (PHRC) meet
the very highest standard and are Qualified Therapeutic Touch Teachers
(QTTT) through Therapeutic Touch International Association (TTIA). They
each have many years of experience and are highly skilled Therapeutic
Touch Practitioners. The Therapeutic Touch (TT) programs offered at PHRC
meet all the requirements to allow participants to further their TT
education and meet the TTIA guidelines to become a Qualified Therapeutic
Touch Practitioner (QTTP).
