The Mentorship Progrm can do that for you!

Developed within a context that implies that mentorship reflects and draws out of each of us our own beauty, strength and wisdom, this TT Invitational Mentorship Program is designed to meet the full range of personal and professional needs that may arise for the participant. This  Program has been developed to serve TT practioners at All LEVELS OF EXPERTISE.

Perhaps you would like to gain more confidence in offering TT, learn more about the nuts and bolts of starting a private practice, or further develop your teaching and mentoring skills. Program content is individualized on the basis of your applications and interests. The learning/teaching environment is a cooperative venture between mentors and students.

Our creative and accomplished faculty has extensive experience in the clinical practice, teaching, mentoring and/or research of the TT process. You will be engaged in TT sessions, centering practice, lectures/seminars, small group discussions, role playing, one-on-one interview with your mentor and exercises to enhance your awarenss of energy flow.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the NewYork State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Prerequisite: This program is open to those who have taken at least a 12 hour Basic TT course as well as to those with extensive TT experience. (TT practitioners of 25 years have participated as students in this Mentorship Program to be supported in the further development of their individual goals with TT.) Participants will benefit from study with a seasoned TT mentor, selected by and under the leadership of Shirley Spear Begley, the Program Director (see bio below). Mentors will be matched with students based upon their applications.

Participants will be accepted by application only. Application are due by May 1, 2010.  After that date please contact the Pumpkin Hollow office for further instructions.

Dolores Krieger, PhD, RN, Founding Director

For several years, Shirley has worked directly in conjunction with Dr Dolores Krieger developing the annual TT invitational Mentorship Program. Shirley was formerly a Mentor, became the Program's Coordinator and was then selected by Dr Krieger as the Program's new Director. A TTIA Qualified TT Teacher, Shirley has practicedTT for 27 years. She is the Executive Director of Integrated Health Care Systems, a holistic nursing consultation and education organization based in St. Petersburg FL. and has an active private practice. Shirely also works with Suncoast Hospice. 

A national lecturer on TT, guided imagery and holistic nursing, Shirley also leads healing retreats for healthcare professionals, teaches seminars and on-going bi-weekly Mentorship courses. Her Long Distance TT Mentorship Program meets quarterly in Florida, and is attended by  practitioners from around the country and internationally. Shirley assists her students to utilizeTT in all clinical settings. She encourages her students to deepen their awareness by combining a knowledgeable foundation of TT with trusting one's personal experience. Her primary approch to TT is based on the importance of centering and the development of compassion.
