Basic Therapeutic Touch
Therapeutic Touch (TT) is a contemporary healing modality that is used to balance and promote the flow of human energy toward health and well-being. TT is based on the assumptions that human beings are complex fields of energy and that the ability to enhance healing in others is a natural human potential. Research has shown that TT can reduce stress, quickly relax a person, enhance the immune system, promote wound healing, decrease the perception of pain.
This workshop, open to all, will explain the basic concepts of TT. Participants will have ample opportunities to learn and practice the basic Therapeutic Touch techniques.
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the New York State Nurses Association's Council on Continuing Education which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Credential Centers Commissions on Accreditation.
