Intermediate Therapeutic Touch Intensive
Therapeutic Touch (TT), a mode of healing and helping, is a contemporary interpretation of ancient practices. Therapeutic Touch, originally founded by Dora Kunz and Dr. Dolores Krieger RN PhD, is taught in colleges around the world and has built a substantial base of formal and clinical research. Instruction, discussion, and practice will be led by a team of teachers that are recognized by the credentialing arm of Therapeutic Touch International (TTIA) as Qualified Therapeutic Touch Teachers (QTTTs). The curriculum will include the modulation of energy, use of color, exploring the chakra system, deepening the experience of centering, hands-on experience of providing TT with a partner practitioner and TT as a way of life. The faculty student ratio will allow for personal attention. The atmosphere at Pumpkin Hollow is ideal for the deep contemplative nature and spiritual aspects of Therapeutic Touch and supports both the healing and learning process. This program has been developed in collaboration with Dr. Dolores Krieger, Ph.D, RN, co-founder of Therapeutic Touch. This program is a prerequisite for the Advanced Invitational TT Program and for application to become a Qualified Therapeutic Touch Practitioner (QTTP).
