"Pumpkin Hollow has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Through the years, I have come as a young child with my parents, a teenager with friends, a single adult, as a family with my husband and our young children, and now I come with my adult children and grandchild. And as a presenter, I have had the great honor of being asked to offer a weekend of team building and reflection. Over the years, I have changed, as has the Hollow, but one thing has always remained constant. Upon arriving at the Hollow, I feel safe, at peace, and secure knowing I am welcomed and I am home.

All homes have that central location that warms the heart; for me, the barn is that location. As I pull into the driveway that leads into Pumpkin Hollow, there on the right-hand side, the large red barn stands as a beacon, welcoming all who enter the Hollow. As I pass by, I hear the echoes of dancing and singing. I see us gathering to work on arts and craft projects, jigsaw puzzles, practicing yoga, or just gathering as a group to sit, talk, and visit, protected under the barn's eaves—so many core memories.

The barn is much more than just a building. It is an integral part of what makes Pumpkin Hollow such a special and sacred place."
