Female Celebration ~ Womens Health in Homeopathy
Tina will take us on an in-depth journey celebrating the feminine and examing issues relating to women's health in homeopathy. There will be lots of practical hands-on opportunities during this interesting and exciting workshop experience. Topics will include young women in transition (mono, chronic fatigue) menstrual difficulty, menopause, infertility, pregnancy problems, delivery, postpartum and newborn/mother bonding. This includes A&P, P&D, discussion of birth control pills and calcium supplements, work in the repertory, small group work-such as creating cases from materia medica, the study of 10 small remedies for bleeding and other related topics and work with paper cases/ case analysis work. Tina will also discuss the well-known Dynamis School provings of 'salmon' and 'chocolate,' which are useful remedies for female health; Tina will be sharing her own case studies relating to these remedies. There will also be an opportunity to take a live case during our time together.

HOMEOPATHY AT HOME - A SHORT FIRST AID COURSE
Learn to help yourself and your family! This course was carefully produced and developed by the well known and highly respected School of Homeopathy, UK and adapted by Sally Tamplin and Mani Norland from Alternative Training so that it can be taught in a seminar.
This Homeopathy First aid Course will provide an insight into the philosophical background as well as the basic methodology of first-aid and acute prescribing in homeopathy, so that you can use it in everyday situations at home, on the sports field, at work and on holiday - for yourself, your family and friends! You will be able to treat many first aid situations, from childhood fevers, teething, attacks of sickness, ear infections, flu, diarrhea, burns etc.
You will be issued with a letter of attendance. If you want to find out more about the certification process (available at extra cost and some home study) please contact Sally Tamplin.
Fees: $100 per day - includes lunch, the book 'Get Well Soon' and the letter of attendance. Arrangements can be made with Pumpkin Hollow Retreat Center for overnight accommodation and 3 meals per day at an extra cost.

Tina Quirk, MS, RN, PCH, is a homeopathic practitioner, teacher and writer, with a background as an advanced practice nurse and nursing consultant. Besides her own practice in New York City, she manages the US practice of the internationally known homeopath, Jeremy Sherr, and has been a longtime collaborator with him and the Dynamis School on many projects, books and articles.

ROOM & BOARD FEES: Please contact Pumpkin Hollow Retreat Center to reserve and pay for day fees/and/or accommodation. You are requested to do this before October 1st. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from monies paid prior to November 1st, which is the last day refunds can be made.
RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS: Pumpkin Hollow charges $100 per night; this includes a room you may have to share and three vegetarian meals. Participants will arrive on Thursday November 3rd in time for dinner and depart on Sunday evening after class. Arrangements can be made with Pumpkin Hollow to stay on Sunday night at an extra cost for those who are making a long journey to join us.
DAY ATTENDANCE STUDENTS: Pumpkin Hollow charges $70 per day, this includes three vegetarian meals. If possible we would like all students to stay at Pumpkin Hollow because there is an opportunity to participate in evening programs such as a campfire and movie.
