Meditation, Relaxation, and the Power of Thought
Each year we come to the Hollow on Memorial Day Weekend to meditate, relax and renew. We engage in walking meditations, labyrinth meditations. meditating by the waterall and a campfire meditation (weather permitting). Learning to relax through meditation can help us deal with life more
effectively, think more clearly and deepen our connection to the
beauties of nature all around us.
This time we add another dimension to our sharing. We will spend a short time exploring the power of thought. Much theosophical literature is devoted to the subject of thought. Let's gather this weekend to see what we can learn from our experiences at Pumpkin Hollow about the power of our thought.
There is ample time to relax, journal, and even participate in some arts and crafts. This weekend will give you the opportunity to become deeply familiar with the peace and contentment that comes through meditation in the wonderfully spiritual atmosphere of Pumpkin Hollow Retreat Center.
The weekend will be hosted by Lyn Trotman, President of the New York Theosophical Society and on the Board of Trustees at Pumpkin Hollow Retreat Center.
